Our core ethos for A Handcrafted Business is to show you a way of doing business which empowers you and those around you. We practice what we preach and part of that involves setting out clearly from the outset the way in which we will deliver our services to you. If you are planning to join A Handcrafted Business Course, Program, Workshops or Class (‚ÄúServices‚ÄĚ) then you must read these terms and conditions in full prior to purchasing.

Services Terms: Key Details

The terms cannot be varied and in proceeding to purchase Services¬†you will be deemed to have accepted these terms. The terms and conditions set out below apply to the Services offered by A Handcrafted Business. Please read them carefully as they affect your rights and liabilities under law and set out the terms under which A Handcrafted Business (‚Äúwe‚ÄĚ, ‚Äúour‚ÄĚ or ‚Äúus‚ÄĚ) provide Services to you, as a purchaser. These terms are subject to any rights you have under consumer law to which we are bound and which cannot be waived by contract.¬†

Services Outline
We offer a variety of different Services each one is for entrepreneurs and business owners who want to learn how to learn a specific aspect a marketing, personal or business growth.  Further details of our Services can be found on our website.

The aim is provide a variety of support and guidance on the different strategies and skills which online businesses and business owners need to help them grow and to become profitable.  The information is tailored towards crafters, makers, artists, photographers and designers in business, but also includes information which has been tested and used across a range of different businesses.

Some Services may be useful for those who have been in business for a number of years, others may be more suitable to those who are new/in the early stage of business.  This information will be available for each service on the Website. Should you need further clarification please contact us to ensure the Service is suitable for your needs.

Service Specifics

Specific details about each Service will be on the Website. There are usually a combination or selection of the following elements, these will vary from Service to Service.

  1. Recorded Videos (Self-Study)
  2. Live Sessions
  3. Workbooks
  4. Bonuses
  5. A Private Facebook Group

i) Recorded Videos & ii) Live Sessions (where included)

Any videos, live or recorded, will be led by Nicola Smith. There may also be expert coaches and consultants who are specialists in different areas of online businesses depending on the Service.  This information will be included on the Website where relevant.

All recorded videos will be accessible via a personal login which will be emailed to you following purchase.  These videos are available for you to self study. Each Service is hosted on a platform 'Kajabi' which is accessible through a browser or app, both require an internet connection. 

For best results you should work through the workbooks and audio or video material in your own time. Failure to complete the self-study materials may limit your ability to learn from the information and guidance shared in any live sessions (if included).

Any Live sessions will take place, either directly in the private Facebook Group (if provided) or via Zoom (or another similar video conferencing platform) for approximately 1 hour unless you are otherwise advised. You will be notified about the times of live video sessions via email and in the private Facebook Group if available.  For any live sessions, it is your responsibility to ensure you have any required links prior to the live session or utilise or attend any Session.  Unused, missed or expired bonuses cannot be refunded, exchanged or returned. There will be no alternative or replacement times offered for any group sessions if you are unable to attend for any reason. 

Where a one-to-one session is offered, you agree to provide at least 72 hours' notice, otherwise you will forfeit the right to that session.  Sessions will not be carried over.  if we are waiting for you to attend a session for more than 15 minutes, we reserve the right to treat you as a no show and you will forfeit your right to the session.

iii) Workbooks (where included)

Workbooks will be provided as either PDFs, Google Doc or Google Sheets depending on the best format for the workbook.  Workbooks are designed to compliment and assist your learning from any recorded or live sessions. For best results you should work through the workbooks and audio or video material in your own time. Failure to complete the self-study materials may limit your ability to learn from the tips and guidance shared in any live sessions (if included).

iv) Bonuses

Any included bonuses will be clearly detailed Website.  Bonuses are subject to availability and limitations as may detailed.  Where these are available they will be either available as part of the Service, accessible on Kajabi or you will contacted about them separately via email.  For any live session bonuses, it is your responsibility to ensure you have any required links prior to the live session or utilise or attend any Session.  Unused, missed or expired bonuses cannot be refunded, exchanged or returned. There will be no alternative or replacement times offered for any group sessions if you are unable to attend for any reason. 

v) Private Facebook Group (where included) and Kajabi Community

You may have access to a private Facebook Group and/or Kajabi Community to support you during the Service.  Details will be available on the Website where relevant.  Where a Facebook Group is available, the intention is to provide community support and a network of individuals at a similar stage of business and who are facing similar challenges. 

From time to Nicola Smith may post and offer support in the Facebook Group but there is no guarantee that posts will be responded to immediately or that any Facebook mailboxes will be monitored. 

Please be advised that whilst we hope that you will be able to utilise the Facebook group, we make no guarantees as to the availability of the group and/or the content within the group at any time.


It is requested that at all times your behaviour towards others is polite and respectful. We will not be held responsible for the behaviour or actions of any other members. Should your behaviour be deemed offensive or inappropriate we reserve the right to remove you from Services and/or the Facebook Group with immediate effect.



The aim of the Services is to provide you with knowledge, information and understanding to improve your marketing, to attract customers and to grow and scale your business.  As a business owner you business is individual and personal to you and whilst the strategies and techniques which we provide are tested, it is not intended that you will watch a video or complete a workbook and that you will instantly turn a profit overnight.  

We make no guarantees or claims as to the success of any individual.  Each individual is unique and their business and processes are unique to them. Your success is dependent on factors which are outside of our control. The aim is that by working through the trainings and resources and taking advantage of all of the elements which the Service has to offer you will have new information, strategies and techniques to create a successful business.

All information provided will be general information and guidance and will not be bespoke advice. We are not responsible for any action or inaction which you take as a result of the information within the Service. We are not responsible for any loss of opportunity or any investments which you make. 

No content in this membership should be construed as medical advice, whether mental or physical. If you believe that you require medical attention you should seek assistance from a medical professional immediately. 

We ask that all individuals respect the rights of others in respect of their behaviour and privacy. We will not be responsible for the action of any individuals including for any disclosures made by any members based on information which has been shared within the Service provision.


Contact and Schedule

It is the intention that the Services will run continuously and that any training material, recorded and live sessions, workbooks and bonuses will be provided as set out above. Should an unforeseen reason arise which cause a session(s) to be postponed they will be rearranged as soon as possible. 

We will be available by email Monday to Friday between 9am-4pm via [email protected] and will respond as soon as possible and within 48 hours during the hours stated.¬†

If you have a technical query relating to accessing the Services¬†please include ‚ÄúTech‚ÄĚ in the subject line of your email correspondence.

You may see us post on social media outside of our core hours. Not all of these posts are live and some will be pre-scheduled. We are passionate about supporting everyone and where we can we may respond to you out of hours but we make no guarantees that this will always be possible.


Payment Terms

The purchase price of each Service is detailed on the relevant Service sales page on the Website. ('Fee')  Where a Service has the option of a specific number of split payments, or monthly subscription you will be liable and responsible for paying the set number of payments until the full Fee is paid or monthly payment each month until you cancel in accordance with these Terms.  Cleared payment must be received before you are entitled to access any Service. 

Where a payment subsequently fails or is rejected, but you have received access to a Service, you agree to provide full payment of the Fee within 7 days of access being provided.  If your payment is beyond 30 days overdue, we shall be entitled to issue proceedings for collection and recovery of the outstanding amount, including our reasonable costs incurred in taking such action. We reserve the right to withhold delivery of the Service until the full payment is made.

We reserve the right to change our Service Fees at any time.  Any changes will not affect the price of Services where payment has already been made and a confirmation email sent. 

Fees are set based on the availability of the Service as detailed on the Website and is not based on your actual usage or attendance.  Usage and attendance is your own responsibility.  You will not be entitled to any credit, or deduction or refund due to non-attendance or lack usage of the Services on your part.


Privacy and Confidentiality

Your privacy and protection of your personal data is important to us. Your personal data is protected as set out in our privacy policy which can be found https://www.ahandcraftedbusiness.com/privacy-policy

We utilise Kajabi to manage our communications with you and from time to time may utilise the Facebook Pixel analytics tracking tool. 

During the course of your Service you may have access to confidential information, in particular the personal affairs of others on the Service. In accepting these terms, you agree that you will not use or disclose to any person, organisation or company, and shall use your best endeavours to prevent the publication of, any confidential information relating to any other member.  

You accept that any unauthorised disclosure of personal or confidential information belonging to another may amount to immediate dismissal from the Service. Should you decide to leave the Service then you remain bound by the confidentiality and privacy obligations.



You can contact us to cancel your purchase within 14 days of purchase during the 'cooling off period', however if you chose to access your Service before the 14 day cooling off period has ended you waive this right with immediate effect. 

Note: On the
 Kajabi platform we can see when a Service has been accessed by an individual or account, if you contact us to cancel this will be monitored before any response is given to your request.


There is no obligation on us to refund any amounts paid where cancellation requests are made outside of the 14 day cancellation period or after the Service has been utilised, whichever applies.

We reserve all rights to cancel the programme for any reason without prior notice. In such circumstance a refund will be provided. 

Statutory refund rights in respect of defective products apply. Should you have any questions about your purchase we will be happy to assist. 



Intellectual Property 

During your time as a student you will be provided with Service materials and information for your own personal business use. At all times the intellectual property rights, trademarks and copyrights connected with those materials remain with us. You have the right to use the materials as learning tools but you are not permitted to duplicate or provide or share copies to third parties for free or for profit. We retain and reserve all of our copyrights. We take the protection of our Intellectual Property very seriously. In the event of any breach of our Intellectual Property Rights, we shall be entitled to seek relief, including injunctive relief, against you.   These provisions remain in force after the Service has been completed and where termination is applied.

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. What happens if I can’t make a live session?

As far as possible, live sessions held in a Facebook Group will be available for replay or if a different platform is used the session will be recorded and the link to watch will be available on the Kajabi platform for you within 48 hours following the end of a live session. From time to time technology may fail and the recording may be unavailable or of poor visual or sound quality but we do aim to record all live sessions. 

  1. What if I need additional support?

Additional support can be offered in the form of 1:1 support or guidance. We are happy to support you as required, please contact us directly, additional charges will apply.

  1. What if I am ill during the Session?

If you are ill or unable to attend a live session for any reason you will be able to watch the recording of that session. If you are ill for an extended period please let us know and we will support you wherever we can, though this may not always be possible in accordance with these terms. 

  1. Is the Session suitable for all businesses and those at all stages of business?

Some Sessions may be useful for those who have been in business for a number of years, others may be more suitable to those who are new/in the early stage of business.  This information will be clear on each Session sales page on the Website. Should you need further clarification please contact us to ensure the Service is suitable for your needs prior to purchase.



We intend to rely on the written terms set out in these Terms and Conditions for the services that we provide to you in delivery of our Services.
These written terms shall constitute the entire agreement between us.

Should there be any conflict between these terms and any hosting platform or payment gateway, these terms shall prevail. 

We may update these terms and conditions from time to time for legal or regulatory reasons or to allow the proper operation of your service. Any changes will be notified to you as soon as possible.

If any provision or part-provision of these terms and conditions is or becomes invalid, illegal or unenforceable, it shall be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, legal and enforceable. If such modification is not possible, the relevant provision or part-provision shall be deemed deleted. Any such modification or deletion shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the rest of these terms and conditions.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. The Courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any matter and proceedings arising out of our Services.
